- Cyrtostachys renda, commonly called lipstick palm or sealing wax palm, is a tropical palm that is native to swampy rain forest areas of the Malaysian peninsula, Indonesia and Borneo. It is perhaps best known for its glossy scarlet red crown shafts and leaf stalks which bring stunning accent and contrast to landscapes or indoor areas.
- Common names are in reference to the red coloration. In the wild, this palm will grow to 12-15’ tall. Pinnate leaves to 4-5’ long are deep green above and gray-green underneath. Small greenish white flowers in panicles bloom in summer.

Skin feels so soft!

Not as good as the real thing
I was really hoping to get a less expensive alternative to Dr Melaxin’s version. This just isn’t cutting it - it totally is not as effective, so I’m tossing this and going back. This one just doesn’t pill up as effectively.

Not as effective as original Dr. M
I bought this after reading several reviews that it is as effective as the original Dr. M. Having used both I can assert this product is NOT nearly as effective. I still had some of the original Dr. M. and did a half and half comparison and it was immediately clear. This exfoliate "pills" like the original but not nearly to the degree and when washed away the half I used the leftover Dr. M. was clean of dead skin and showed clear pores. The other half? Not so much. I'll be going back to the original.
