Wormwood Starter Plant - Artemisia absinthium - 3" pot

❗LOOK!!❗Items cannot be shipped to CALIFORNIA or ARIZONA due to state import laws. Any orders from these states will be canceled. My apologies for this inconvenience. 3in Potted Plant, GMO Free, Heirloom, Open PollinatedName: Wormwood Scientific Name: Artemisia absinthium Family: Asteraceae Product Description     Wormwood is an upright, woody-based perennial with finely divided, highly aromatic silver-gray foliage. The leaves are deeply divided, giving the plant a feathery appearance. It produces small, yellowish flowers in dense, leafy, drooping panicles at the stem tips during the summer  Origination: Europe, Asia, North Africa – Naturalized in North America Historic Uses: Ethnobotanical Height: 1-3 Ft  Hardiness: USDA  Flower Color: Yellow Maturity: ~6 months – 1 yr Growing Instructions:  Prefers well-drained soils and sunny locations. It can tolerate poor soil conditions and drought, making it a hardy plant for various environments. Please try to understand that most of these plants are not garden center plants. They are wild perennial plants that will go dormant at certain times of the year. We do not have a set up that allows us to grow year-round so we have to grow with the seasons. If you buy a plant out of season, I will typically still send it because it is a perennial plant and will grow again when the climate allows it to grow again. I will never send out a declining annual plant unless I contact you first. Though most of these are easy to grow, they are NOT all beginner plants. This statement applies to Ethnobotanical plants, herbs, and some vegetables – not so much succulents, hoyas and cacti, though they go dormant too, they usually still look the same and don’t decline during dormancy. If you are unsure when a plant grows best or goes dormant, please don't hesitate to ask me. They don't all go dormant at the same time here in Jacksonville, Fl. I can't speak for anywhere else though with certainty. You will receive a plant that is very similar to the plants pictured, however, they may have grown some, or, depending on the time of year, they could be semi-dormant. Ships in a 3" pot. We put great care into packaging our plants and problems have been VERY rare, but due to the nature of the items shipped, it is possible for leaves or small stems to bend or break in transit but generally this is only cosmetic, and the plant will recover once watered and placed in a bright location (But not direct sun since they just came out of the box!). If your plant arrives rotting or dead, we will replace it for you. Please contact me within 24 hours of delivery of your plants. It is my duty to get you a live healthy plant- a few broken leaves or small stems not counting as this is normal. After 24 hours, my job is done and it is up to you (The buyer) to know how to keep it alive. I have only grown plants in Florida and will send out anything I feel comfortable will grow here. In other words, it is up to you to know the conditions that these plants grow in the part of the country you reside in. I will accept some returns, however, since a shipped plant cannot be returned in its original condition, I can only offer a 50% refund. We take great care in packaging our plants and problems have always been VERY rare. Heat packs are available for purchase with your item to use if cold weather is expected at the time of shipment. (Link to Heat Pack: https://www.ebay.com/itm/146333255563 ) Keep in mind some plants we carry are very tropical and even cold, not freezing, temperatures can kill them. I will cancel any order I feel won't make it safely to its destination without freezing. 📌IF YOU EXPECT COLD WEATHER, PLEASE PURCHASE A HEAT PACK! 📌 I don't make any profit off of them because they are a necessary shipping item in winter.  Basic care instructions are included with your order. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me for any extra advice you may require. We want you to be successful with our babies!  And if you have any questions about this item or others, please message me and I will gladly answer them.

Name: Columbine

Scientific Name: Aquilegia canadensis

Family: Ranunculaceae

Product Description:

Aquilegia canadensis, commonly known as Canadian Columbine or Eastern Red Columbine, is a perennial plant native to woodland and rocky slopes in eastern North America. It features nodding, 1-2 inch wide, long-spurred flowers with scarlet sepals and pale-yellow petals, which bloom in late spring to early summer. This plant grows to a height of 2-3 feet and has fern-like foliage that remains attractive throughout the summer, provided the soil is kept moist. It prefers rich, moist soils in light to moderate shade but can tolerate a wide range of soil types, provided drainage is good. Aquilegia canadensis is known for its ability to attract pollinators such as bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds, due to its deep nectaries. In gardens, it is often used in beds and borders, underplanting roses and shrubs, and in informal and cottage garden styles. It can also thrive in prairie and meadow settings and is suitable for woodland or native plant gardens. The plant is short-lived but will self-seed prolifically to form large colonies in optimum growing conditions.

Origination: Eastern North America
Historic Uses: Ornamental, Ethnobotanical
Height: 3Ft
Hardiness: USDA 3-9
Flower Color: Red, Yellow
Other Names: Canadian Columbine, Eastern Red Columbine

Growing Instructions:

Prefers partial shade but will grow in full sun in cooler locations. It thrives in humus-rich, moist, but well-drained soil. It can grow up to 24-36 inches tall and 12-18 inches wide, forming a bushy, upright clump. The plant is generally short-lived but will self-seed prolifically to form large colonies in satisfactory growing conditions. space transplants or thin seedlings 1-2Ft apart and keep them well watered until established. Deadheading spent flowers can prolong the blooming period and prevent excessive seed production if desired.

Ships in 3" pots. You will receive a plant similar to the ones pictured, though size and fullness may vary. Please understand that shipped plants have bumpy rides. A few broken leaves or small stems are normal during shipping and are not considered damage. Broken stems can be rooted once the cut end dries to start new growth. Plants may arrive semi‑dormant, and in winter they may naturally drop a few leaves. If your plant arrives rotting or dead, we will replace it. Please contact us with photo proof within 24 hours of delivery. After 24 hours, plant care becomes the buyer’s responsibility, though we’re always happy to answer questions and help you succeed. We also add brief instructions on getting started when you open your box. We want our plant babies to have happy new homes! 🥰

Heat packs are available to purchase in our shop for cold-sensitive plants. Keep in mind some plants we carry are very tropical and even cold, not freezing, temperatures can kill them. 📌IF YOU EXPECT COLD WEATHER, PLEASE PURCHASE A HEAT PACK! 📌 These are necessary for winter shipping, so I sell them at cost. I won't refund or replace any frozen plants unless you buy one!

❗Please Read!❗

Sleek and classy loafer
Size: 10.5, Color: Black
Was skeptical on this purchase but I have to say, well worth it. Not super expensive but very comfortable. Wears well for summer dress attire for taking your lady out for a dinner or show. Casual yet classy. Not a bad buy.

I wanted to love these
Size: 9, Color: Black Leather
These are very good looking in person, especially the buckles and the pop of red on black. Alas, I have another pair of Marc Joseph shoes to compare comfort and fit, and this pair simply hurts my feet.

very poor quality
Size: 14, Color: Black
they are a peice of garbage, within about a month since i started wearing them the outer material started pealing off within two months the upper separated from the soles so i had to go to a shoemaker to sew them back together, within some few months the insoles completely wore out rendering the shoes unwearable, now mind you that i do not abuse shoes but use them in a normal office oriented enviorment, i will for sure not be buying these shoes again
