Candle burned all the way down and looking to repurpose the vessel?  We can help!  These Seed Grow Kits from Sprigbox are the all-in-one solution to turning your jar/vessel/glass into a functional planter.

It's easy!

Step 1: Simply scoop out any remaining soy wax with a spoon and remove the metal wick tab - if you need a hand, it can be hit with a hair dryer or hot water to help loosen the adhesive. 

Step 2: Wash the container with hot, soapy water and a rag or paper towel to get the jar as clean as possible, then you're ready to plant!

Step 3: Open the seed kit - you will find a compostable, recycled bag 'planter' so if you wish to use that go grow your plant, great!  Otherwise, simply take out the peat disc, place it in your vessel and slowly add water until the soil expands.  Please be aware that the instructions say to use two cups of water to fully soak the disc, so be careful to not overfill!  You can absolutely chunk off some of the disc if you'd like to start smaller.

Note: the soil disc is intended for a larger container and is wider in diameter than the Standard 9oz Glass Jars, so simply break the disc in half and split it between two jars (or save it for another time!).  The kit comes with a planter bag that will work as well if you don't want to use a jar!

Step 4: Follow the seed planting instructions; we used the Tomato Plant seeds for the pictures, so we poked 1/4" hole to place seeds throughout, but your variety might need something different.

Step 5: Place your plant in a sunny/partial sun area, keep soil damp and you'll have an awesome recycled garden in no time!
