Aeonium ‘Silver Edge’ is a variegated succulent known for its elegant rosette shape and soft, contrasting foliage. It forms branching stems topped with symmetrical rosettes, giving it a sculptural, almost floral appearance.
Aeonium ‘Silver Edge’ produces clusters of small, star-shaped yellow flowers on tall stems that emerge from the center of mature rosettes. Blooming typically occurs in spring. Like many Aeoniums, the flowering rosette is monocarpic, meaning it will die after blooming, but the plant continues to grow through its surrounding offsets and branches.
Aeonium ‘Silver Edge’ stands out for its refined variegation and seasonal growth cycle. Its creamy white leaf margins contrast beautifully with soft green centers, and occasional pink blush adds extra charm. Combined with its architectural branching form and delicate spring flowers, it brings both structure and elegance to any succulent collection.

Prefers bright, indirect light to partial sun. It can tolerate gentle morning sun, but protection from intense afternoon heat helps prevent leaf scorch, especially in warmer climates.
Requires well-draining soil, such as a cactus or succulent mix. Adding perlite or pumice improves aeration and drainage.
Water moderately during its active growing season (fall through spring), allowing the top layer of soil to dry between waterings. Reduce watering significantly during summer dormancy to avoid root rot.
Thrives in temperatures between 60–75°F (16–24°C). Prefers cooler conditions and may become dormant in high summer heat.
-
Suitable for USDA zones 9–11. It is not frost-tolerant and should be brought indoors or protected in colder regions.
