This is a good way to prevent potential seam splits along the top of the jacket due to careless handling by the post office, and this service is free of charge. If you forget to write in the comments of your order about shipping outside of the jacket, PLEASE EMAIL US WITH YOUR ORDER NUMBER and ask us to update the notes on your order to ship outside of the jacket. Good Enough
This doesn't fit precisely into place. You can see in the photo that the pleats just end with no frame on the sides to seal to the body of the housing. You can wiggle the end pleat into place but there's nothing holding it there so I don't know how long it will stay there. Not a big deal for me, but if you live on a dirt road, there could be enough air bypassing the filter that you may get a dusty car sooner. Price was fine, but I won't buy this filter again.
