All of them are easy to care for and unique in their own way. Tillandsia ionantha grows 1-3” long needle like leaves that radiate out from a central growth point and are covered in Trichomes (hair like structures). These trichomes help the plant absorb and retain moisture. Adult plants will “blush”, or usually shift in color, when they are getting ready to bloom.
