This stunning vintage 1940s wedding gown is so elegant. It is crafted of the richest duchesse satin, with eyelet cutouts at the neckline, emphasized by beadwork. All of this work is done by hand which is really remarkable— it was custom made and is completely one-of-a-kind. The princess-cut bodice is fitted, with a basque waist shape, emphasized by piping at the seams. Note the shape of the skirt— a flat panel runs down the center, with pleating only starting at the side waist, which adds fullness while still creating a flattering, nipped-waist look. Functional pearl buttons line the back, and the pointed-cuffs.

Measurements: Fits like a size Small, but please refer to below measurements to be sure
Shoulders: 13.5" between shoulder seams laid flat; true shoulders are more like 15"
Chest: 35"
Waist: 26" laid flat; up to 27" pulled taut
Length: about 54" from shoulder to front hem; back train extends additional 47.5" 

Good vintage condition overall, but it is not in perfect condition, and there are signs of wear commensurate with age, none of which detract from the dress's beauty. There is some scuffing to the fabric in places, and minor discoloration in places. (It's more like a watermark, not a "stain," so it's not noticeable depending on the angle/lighting.) Ok, I like the idea of this but the assembly is frustrating. One side lined up perfectly with the holes however, the small bars that connect the screen to base is not lining up. I think it's do the fabric the screen or divider is made of. It's not stretchy. I brought this months ago and just opened it today. I'm upset and don't even think returning it is possible. If the material was a bit longer or stretchy to give a little room to work with this divider would be great. However, I'm not sure what I can use it for since I'm unable to attach it to the bottom. Beware! Don't wait like me. Tip for the manufacturer. Next time invest in Velcro dividers so the fabric can be adjusted with ease. Literally if I take the screen off the frame aligns perfectly. However, it defeats its purpose of privacy. I might buy some material myself and create a more flexible divider. Or I'll buy Velcro myself and attach to the bottom. I don't know yet.

I had to order this in an emergency. To put it in brief words, I live in a two level studio unit. My bedroom TV fell backwards off the bureau accidentally and down the stairs to its demise. Putting this together was no problem, instructions were thorough and easy. It came with several bars that connected together smoothly and an Allen key for the brackets and screws for the feet. I did one less horizontal bar on top and bottom so it could fit, which was great because with all of them on it was too long. However I ran into the difficulty of the horizontal bars popping out of the brackets during the last stages, but eventually got it done. I was also looking for a specific type of divider where I could adjust the feet so I could tuck it in between the dresser and banister. Glad I made this purchase.
