I also prefer the irritant-free formula just because it puts my mind at ease using something without unnecessary ingredients, not because I absolutely need it. Side note: My doc recommended this during a perioral dermatitis flare-up caused by medication. The CeraVe was potentially irritating my skin even more at the time. Otherwise, I would’ve just continued using the CeraVe. This appears to be good for extremely sensitive skin, including dermatitis and acne flares.

I have very delicate skin that is prone to acne and eczema. Altogether, really like the product over the week or two that I have been using it, and my skin looks a lot cleaner and more evenly textured.
