Description: 1992 party dress by Bob Mackie, a playful and romantic confection that perfectly captures the era’s love of fantasy and texture. The strapless bodice is constructed in a vivid printed organza, layered beneath an intricate overlay of white floral lace. The lace creates a dimensional, almost appliqué effect, allowing the soft pastel tones—peach, citron, and pale green—to glow subtly from beneath. The sweetheart neckline enhances the feminine silhouette, while the fitted structure provides a sculpted, corset-like shape. At the waist, the dress flares dramatically into a voluminous skirt of sheer tulle, delicately dotted with raised chenille polka dots. The skirt’s airy transparency reveals the softly blended colors underneath, giving the piece a luminous, almost watercolor quality in motion. Whimsical yet refined, this is a quintessential Bob Mackie design—rich in texture, theatrical in spirit, and unmistakably 1980s in its exuberant approach to eveningwear.

Condition:  Gently Worn with no obvious damage.

Parents beware!
Format: Hardcover
This books is about a trans child running away from home and it basically teaches children how to do it. Nearly a step by step example. Then at the end of the book the author offers “resources” and advice. The first advice the author gives is “this book itself is the advice” (meaning: run away from home) and then the author lists ways a child can get around their parents. Even telling children that if they have parental control features on their phones preventing them from looking up stuff (assuming “resources” to run away) that they can go to the library, even suggesting they ride their bike to the library so their parents don’t know, to look up “resources” at the library. My daughter was somewhat disturbed by this book. She said: “I feel like it’s trying to brainwash me into hating you! I had to remind myself of who I am like every chapter. I’m afraid for kids who don’t know better.” Parents beware!

Nasty
Format: Hardcover
Terrible blaming parent for trying to protect their child. She is committing a great moral evil. Shame on Dial Books for Young Readers for greenlighting a book with such a false, evil, and vindictive premise.

ONE did it again!
Format: Paperback
Fantastic start to a new series. I honestly never expected for him to come up with another interesting idea, I thought this would be another one punch man or mob situation of the overpowered MC. And without spoiling anything, it’s not that. Everything to the art work and the characters is amazing. Go PICK IT UP!

This is an interesting story with several unexpected twists, with very nice and dynamic artwork. Let's see if the premise actually holds up in the next volumes.

Unexpectedly awesome
Format: Paperback
After reading the first chapter, I was expecting a Demon Slayer clone. I should have known better, given the author! The story took a twist and I am all in. Great action and humor so far. Can't wait for the next one!
